A SOLITARY RITUAL TO RELEASE NEGATIVITY

Tools needed:
Wand, Athame, candle, anointing oil and matches.
Anoint the candle and fill it full of all the negativity that you want to release.
Ground and Center yourself and then:
Tap your Wand 9 times. (3x3)
Cast a Circle around where you will be, with your Athame.
Call the Watchtowers:
Green Mountain Earth, spirit of the North -- Please join me now, bring Your power forth.
Blessed Be.
East wind blowing, yellow break of day -- Spirit of the breezes, show to me the way.
Blessed Be.
Fire burning red, I call You to this Rite -- Spirit of the South, I draw You here tonight.
Blessed Be.
Blue ocean waves, break upon the beach -- Spirit of the West, bring Yourself into my reach.
Blessed Be.
Invite the Deities:
The Goddess and the God, I call You to this place -- I ask that You join me and bring Your warm embrace.
So Mote It Be.
Light the Releasement candle and set it in the center of the Circle.
Raise energy by chanting and walking Deosil around the candle:
I release all negativity, I cast it now away -- That it shall turn to positive, before the break of day.
(Repeat until energy is raised.)
Ask the Deities:
I have called you here tonight -- That you might help me in my Rite -- To bring your power to my spell -- That it shall work both strong and well.
I ask You now to cast away -- My inner darkness, may it not stay -- That this be done as soon as might -- And it will be both fit and right.
The power that comes from this spell -- Will be released, both strong and well -- For the good of all, according to the free will of all, with harm to none.
So Mote It Be.
Sing releasing song as many times as necessary to release everything:
Air Moves me, Fire transforms me, Water cleanses me, Earth heals me -- And the balance of the Wheel goes round and round, and the balance of the Wheel goes round -- And the balance of the Wheel goes round and round, and the balance of the Wheel goes round.
When it has all been released, Bless your food and drink, and partake of it. After you have finished Toasting and Feasting in your customary manner, say:
All of the darkness and negativity has been released from my life. I shall now take in only that which is positive and pure. This Rite is ended.

WORDS TO SAY AT THE PASSING OF A LOVED ONE rewritten from a variety of older material by Belisama
This is a day of both sadness and joy. It is sad because a chapter has closed; yet is it joyful, because, by the closing, a new chapter may begin.
I mark the passing of __________, for whom this incarnation is ended.
I commend her/him to the care and blessing of the Goddess and the God, that s/he may rest, free from illusion or regret, until the time shall come for her/his rebirth to this world.
And knowing that this shall be so, I know also, that the sadness is nothing and the joy is all.
I call to thee, Dark Mother; to whom all manifested life must return when its time has come. Dark Mother of stillness and rest, before whom all tremble because they understand Thee not.
I call to Thee, who art also Hecate of the waning Moon, Dark Lady of Wisdom, whom all fear because Thy wisdom towers above their own.
I know that there is naught to fear in Thine embrace, which none can escape; that when we step into Thy darkness, as all must, it is but to step again into the light.
Therefore, in love and without fear, I commend to Thee, __________.
Take her/him, guard her/him, guide her/him; admit her/him to the peace of the Summerlands, which stand between life and life. And know, as Thou knowest all things, that my love goes with her/him.
Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel be broken at the cistern; then shall the dust return to the Earth as it was; and the spirit shall return to the Goddess who gave it.
I call to Thee, Bright Mother; Thou who art the womb of rebirth, from whom all manifested life comes, and at whose flowing breast all are nourished.
I call to Thee, who art the waxing Moon, Lady of Springtime and of all things new. Bring her/him in the fullness of time to a new birth and a new life, and grant that s/he may be loved again, as I have loved her/him.
To fulfill love, you must return again at the same time and at the same place as the loved ones; and you must meet, and know, and remember, and love them again.
To be reborn, you must die, and be made ready for a new body. And to die, you must be born; and without love, you may not be born.
And our Goddess ever inclines to love and mirth and happiness. She guards and cherishes Her children in life. In death She teaches the way to Her communion.
I shall always remember her/him, with whom I have shared this lifetime. With this communion, I lovingly place her/him in the hands of the Goddess. Let all return to the elements from which they came.
I now bid farewell to __________, who must travel far. May the blessings of Earth and Sky, the Deities, and of family and friends be with her/him, as s/he travels beyond the Western Gates.
There is a reason for being here, in this world and in this life, and there is a reason for leaving, when the purposes of this life are done. May I come to understand.
The soul journeys beyond, to pause, to rest and to wait for those who are loved. The world beyond is a land of eternal summer, and of joy, far from the cares of this world, with happiness and youth anew.
As the evergreen does grow and prosper, both in summer and in winter, year after year after year, so also does the soul continue, from life to life to life... Growing ever stronger, wiser, richer.
May the four winds now escort her/him, to the Summerland of light, of beauty, and of joy.

A SPELL TO RELEASE DEPRESSION

At the New Moon, mix:
1 oz. Cedar Chips
1 oz. Catnip
1 oz. Rose Petals
1 oz. Cinnamon
Grind them together in a coffee grinder, a blender, or mortar and pestle, and add:
1/2 oz. Patchouli Oil
Mix well. Take half of the mixture and place into a glass jar that is large enough to hold it. Cover it with Olive Oil. Let the second half of the mixture cure until the day after the Full Moon.
Anoint with some of the Oil from the first mixture:
1 black candle
1 white candle
Place some of the second mixture on a lit charcoal block. Keep replenishing this until you have finished.
Cast a Circle around yourself, light the candles, and say:
"Earth and fire, water, air,
Hear me as I say this prayer.
Take this depression far away,
Give me strength to face the day."
Say this as many times as possible.
Blow out the candles and remove the Circle.
Repeat this Spell every day until the New Moon.
TO DISPELL DARKNESS

When all seems dark,
and shadows loom,
and light seems
not to shine,
With these few words,
I can take heart,
and bring back
the glow Divine.
Take a piece
of potters clay,
Write on it all
you wish to cast away.
The grief, the fear,
That you've held near,
Regrets you bear,
And darkness wear.
When you have done, place the clay into a fire or oven until it hardens.
At the Dark Moon, take the hardened clay outside at night. Break it into dust. Let the Four Winds carry away the dust.
"From darkness to dust,
and dust to blow.
Forever let
my darkness go."

A SPELL FOR SELF CONFIDENCE

At the New Moon, light a purple candle, and stare into the flame. Breathe slowly in and out until you are calm and relaxed.
Think about your life. Think about things that you find joyful. When you have become peaceful and happy, say these words aloud:
"By candle flame,
and memories past,
That I may feel
self confident bliss,
All fears and hindrances
I now cast,
Into the depths
of the dark abyss,
And there to stay
forever more,
I cleanse my heart,
renew my soul,
By the power
of the ancient lore.
I now become
complete and whole."
Do this every night until the Full Moon.
A SPELL TO SWEETEN YOUR THOUGHTS

Needed:
Glass jar with tight fitting lid
3 bulbs of fresh Garlic
Honey
Peel the Garlic and place it into the jar. Fill the jar with Honey. Shake the mixture well every day.
As you do, say these words three times:
Sweeten my thoughts with love and light. I no longer wish to fight.
In three months, the garlic will sweeten. As it does, so will your thoughts. You can eat the sweetened garlic to boost the Spell. It tastes wonderful when spread on toast.
